Yes, SU definitely allows you to pursue iterations ad infinitum, the hard part being as a designer is knowing when to quit, as I'm sure you've figured out.
Even a minor tweak such as removing the port cochere completely changes the look of the building, it goes from more castle-like to a Tudor with castle affectations. Ah well, at least it looks decent and still has some castle in it.
